Screening for Named Organisms or Known Pathogens

Test specifications mention counts and absence of named organisms.  These are pathogens or infective agents.  They or their toxins cause disease in hosts.  For example pseudomonas species cause blindness, therefore eye lotion, mascara, and eye shadow should be free from these pathogens.

Clostridium tetani causes tetanus therefore talcum powders and kaolin should be free from this pathogen.  Presence of pathogens should be studied in 1 gram, 10 gram or 25 gram of product types and should be excluded.  Contact Us for further details.
